West De Pere
Located just south of Green Bay lies De Pere. It was first established as a city in 1883. The name of the city "De Pere" comes from the French term "Les Rapides des Peres" (the rapids of the fathers). It was named this in respect of the mighty rapids of the nearby Fox River. The city itself is divided into to sides,east and west. The Claude Allouez Bridge,which crosses the river to connect the east and west parts of the city together, is named after after the French Jesuit priest who named the area.Contact Details

A Little About West De Pere
For a quiet little town there are a lot of things to do. The Claude Allouez Bridge is something to behold and the history behind it is also very interesting. Due to its proximity to the River, De Pere is a great resort for boat lovers. There are facilities set up for the launching of boats. De Pere also has many sports fields and parks for rental from tennis to ice skating. De Pere also has a number of schools for all levels in a lot of areas. Charter Coaches can be used for these activities and would be especially useful for a day out of playing sport.
