Lamers Bus Lines is currently looking for entry-level or experienced mechanics to keep up our level of commitment to safety. In this role, the successful candidate will perform bus maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.   • Conduct regular preventative maintenance, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.
  • Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop.
  • Perform repairs on company school buses.
  • Help diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
  • Perform regular diagnostic tests.
  • Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles

Skills: Previous experience or schooling in diesel vehicles. A large amount of our school buses run Cummins 6B diesel engines. Ability to pass background check and obtain CDL with P & S endorsements (Lamers offers in-house CDL training).
