As new developments arise around the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share the proactive steps we’re taking to keep our passengers healthy and safe during these uncertain times. Our No. 1 concern has always been the safety of our passengers and employees.
Currently the U.S. travel ban does not include domestic travel, only certain areas of international travel. We understand that despite this, your decision to travel is personal. We would like to assure you that we’re committed to keeping your health and safety at the forefront of our thoughts.
Bus cleanliness is a priority and we have been evaluating our cleaning procedures to make sure they are the most effective they can be. Coronavirus (COVID-19) information is changing rapidly and being updated continuously. With the assistance of the International Motorcoach Group (IMG), American Bus Association (ABA), and our industry partners, Lamers is receiving the latest and most accurate Coronavirus (COVID-19) information available. We will continue to adjust our policies and procedures as needed to ensure safe travel for our passengers and a safe work environment of our employees.

Currently we have drivers and staff disinfecting all of the buses at our terminals. In addition, we are making additional cleaning materials available for staff to use in the buses when they are on the road to target more frequently touched surfaces, like hand-holds, railings, and grab surfaces.
We currently have three products available that contain disinfecting ingredients that claim to kill 99.9% of viruses on hard and non-porous surfaces. These are products that have been an established part of our cleaning process since long before the virus outbreak.
· DDDS WINTERGREEN: Mixed in spray bottles, all hard surfaces and mopping floors
· CLAIRE DISINFECTANT SPRAY Q: Aerosol can, all hard surfaces
· TB QUANT QT BOTTLES: Pump sprayer, all hard surfaces
At our upcoming safety meetings we will further discuss with our drivers the disinfecting protocol. This process will continue to evolve and be used in the future, but we are confident we are keeping our school buses and motor coaches as clean as possible.
Management will do our best to monitor our protocols and the disinfecting of the buses going forward.

Information about Lamers Tour & Travel Scheduled Trips
It is almost certain that ALL Lamers tours that were scheduled to operate in the next few months will cancel. Because of the enormity and unprecedented seriousness of this situation, we are addressing these tours one-by-one by in date order. We are respectfully asking all of our customers to please be patient as we connect with our distressed travel partners to discuss/ascertain refunds. This will take time. More time than most might think but rest assured we are doing our best to work through this unparalleled matter.
A formal letter of cancellation will be mailed to each tour customer in the coming weeks. Please watch for it to arrive timely, according to your scheduled tour’s departure date.

We are committed to providing a safe travel environment for our passengers, and are taking proactive steps to keep our buses and work environments as safe and clean as possible. We have implemented additional and more frequent cleaning and disinfecting processes.
Cancellation Policy Changes for Lamers Connect Bus Routes
Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) travel concerns, if you have purchased a ticket with a travel date after 03/10/2020 and before 05/15/2020, Lamers Connect is offering a one-time no-charge ticket cancellation. For this one-time no-charge cancellation, a credit will be applied to your GoLamers account for the amount of your ticket to be used towards future travel with Lamers Connect. The credit does not expire and can be applied towards any of our Lamers Connect Routes. The no-charge credit will not be refunded in cash payment or applied to a credit/debit card. If you wish to cancel your ticket you can contact our Lamers Connect office at 866-552-6377. Please note that this one-time no-charge cancellation applies to future trips only, and is not available for routes that have are, or have already operated.
