Lamers Connect Intercity Bus Route Service, provided by Lamers Bus Lines, Inc. of Green Bay WI, announces continued operations of Lamers Connect Daily Bus Routes – from Green Bay to Madison and Milwaukee, Dubuque IA to Madison, Wisconsin Rapids to Madison and Milwaukee, and Wausau to Madison and Milwaukee. These services will continue unless the government changes its directive. Should a change in directive occur, we will continue to comply with state and federal orders.
In an effort to continue to serve the public with essential transportation services during the Coronavirus COVID-19 health crisis, Lamers Bus Lines recognizes the need for the public to pursue ESSENTIAL TRAVEL activity, as identified in the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Emergency Order #12 – Safer at Home Order.
The Safer at Home Order #12, provides for essential travel purposes related to essential government and business operations, the pursuit of care for elderly, minors, vulnerable and dependent populations, and for the care of persons with disabilities. Essential travel also includes travel to and from education institutions for learning and related services. Travel to return to a place of permanent residence, as well as travel for the transport of children to comply with custody agreements, is considered essential. Furthermore, travel required by law enforcement is considered essential.
For the safety and welfare of its customers and drivers, Lamers Bus Lines has instituted stringent sanitization and cleaning of it intercity bus fleet, using more frequent and specific practices designed to provide the safest travel environment possible. Passengers traveling on Lamers Connect intercity routes are encouraged to follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control, regarding social distancing and other practices, while traveling on Lamers Connect Intercity Buses.
Lamers Connect Intercity Routes, operated by Lamers Bus Lines Inc., provides passenger transportation services to 35 locations in 22 communities in Wisconsin and Dubuque IA, 365 days a year. All Lamers Connect routes operate on a daily, round trip basis, with connections to Greyhound and Amtrak to communities across the United States.
