DAY ONE
Prepare for a natural adventure into some of Mother Nature’s most breathtaking scenery. Today we depart to explore the Canadian Rockies! Our first overnight will be in Fergus Falls, MN at the Country Inn & Suites.

DAY TWO – CB, D
As we head west, we travel into the North Dakota Badlands. We will begin to experience a more western flavor as we travel to Medora. Founded by the Marquis de Mores and named for his wife, this town is now one of North Dakota’s most popular destinations.

After checking into our accommodations for the evening, we will enjoy the Pitchfork Fondue followed by a performance of the Medora Musical. Presented in the 2800-seat Burning Hills Amphitheatre, we will be surrounded by the majesty of the Badlands. Tonight relax at the Badlands Motel for your overnight.

DAY THREE – B, L
Today we explore Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Learn how this enchanting area influenced Roosevelt’s life, philosophy and politics. We will make a brief stop at his Maltese Cabin for pictures.

Later we travel through Big Sky Country enroute to Great Falls, Montana, our destination for the evening. Accommodations are arranged at the Hampton Inn.

DAY FOUR – CB, L, D
Our morning drive brings us to one of America’s most amazing treasures – Glacier National Park. Among many other scenic wonders the park is home to Two Medicine Lake, where we will experience a delightful cruise later today. Both lunch and dinner are included today in relaxing surroundings and during our stay at the Glacier Park Lodge.

DAY FIVE – B, L, D
A scenic day begins with our quick drive to the alpine Lake McDonald. As the largest lake in Glacier National Park it measures 10 miles in length and is more than a mile wide. Lake McDonald lies in a giant bowl surrounded by thickly forested, towering mountains. On a calm day, the mirrored reflection of the mountains in the lake provides a stunning sight. After lunch we’ll board special park buses for our drive along “Going-to-the-Sun Road.” Cascading streams, waterfalls and mountain meadows lead to giant spruce forests and alpine valleys. Enjoy an included dinner this evening.

DAY SIX – B
The expansive Canadian heartland of Alberta welcomes our arrival today. Soon we’re climbing the foothills of the massive Rockies we’ve come to adore. Afternoon tour of Calgary, AB acquaints us with this old Cowtown now a modern city. Our final destination is the beautiful resort community of Banff. We’ll check in for a two night stay at the Delta Banff Royal Lodge.

DAY SEVEN – B, L
A delightful breakfast is enjoyed in this one-of-a-kind locale. Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest park and today we tour Bow Falls and the historic Banff Springs Hotel. As our touring continues we head to the crystal blue waters of Lake Louise. Experience a gondola ride high above Sulphur Mountain then enjoy a lunch here at Lake Louise Station. Your evening is free to experience this resort community.

DAY EIGHT – B, L
Today’s travels take us along the scenic Icefield Parkway known as the “backbone” of the Canadian Rockies. Our destination is the town of Jasper, Alberta and the Lobstick Lodge. In these idyllic surroundings we enjoy lunch upon arrival at Lake Lodge. Enjoy a free afternoon to take in the magnificent surroundings.

DAY NINE – B, L
Enveloped by spectacular mountain scenery, enjoy a delightful cruise on the blue/green waters of Lake Maligne. Later we motor to the Columbia Icefields. We board specially-equipped snocoaches for a trip to the immense frozen river of ice known as the Athabasca Glacier, Canada's most famous. Hear stories of the early explorers who opened up these valleys as you travel through an awe-inspiring landscape. After our visit, travel to the city of Calgary for our overnight at the Sheraton Cavalier.

DAY TEN – B, L
Our eastward bound travels follow immense wheat fields as we motor towards the city of Regina, Saskatchewan. As the provincial capital, Regina is located in the southern portion of the province. We’ll pause for lunch as we move through Medicine Hat and finally on to our Holiday Inn Express accommodations.

DAY ELEVEN – CB, D
Before departing Regina, which is home to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Heritage Centre we see how law and order was performed in the vast Canadian frontier since 1873. The expansive provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba welcome us as we travel through enroute to Winnipeg. We’re soon checking into the Radisson Hotel for the night.

DAY TWELVE – B, L
Located at the confluence of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers, we get an overview of the diverse city of Winnipeg with our local guide before heading back over the border into the U.S. The rich Red River Valley farmlands of North Dakota are a welcoming sight as we get closer to home. We continue our travels making our way into Minnesota and our final overnight location at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud.
