Our day begins when we stop and smell the roses. Walk through 14 raised gardens, home to 400 rose bushes, a waterfall, bridge, and gazebo.

Next, we travel into the Lake Geneva area, where lunch awaits at the historic Baker House. After lunch, we will enjoy a short tour of the home and learn its interesting history through the years. (Lunch, tip and tax included).

After lunch, we meet our tour docent for the short drive to the Black Point Estate, where we will enjoy a guided tour.

This 20 room Queen Anne-style “cottage” was built in 1888. After a $1.9 million restoration, this home opened for tours in 2007, but was only accessible by boat. This Wisconsin Historical Society assumed responsibility for the estate in 2013, and it’s now accessible by road. Black Point Estate is considered to have one of the most intact collections of Victorian furnishings in the Mid-West. (Guided tour included)

We will complete our day with a bit of free time in downtown Lake Geneva, where you may shop, walk the shoreline, or enjoy an ice cream cone.
