Engage in this stunning, permanent display of work by the Tacoma-born artist Dale Chihuly. See the colorful creations of this world-renowned glass artist, who has received many awards for his work, ranging from huge sculptures to intricate glassware. The Chihuly Collection is managed by the Morean Arts Center. Highlights of the collection include the Ruby Red Icicle Chandelier and Tumbleweeds, scraggly glass shapes that illuminate the ceiling.

A visit to the Morean Glass Studio is a must see opportunity to enjoy working artists creating one-of-kind glass blown pieces. They provide a running commentary on their actions and techniques, the science behind the glass plus the artistic vision guiding the process.

Lunch on your own at Mazzaro’s Italian Market: (1:00-3:00 p.m.)
Mazzaro’s Italian Market is an Italian cuisine fine food market located in St. Petersburg, FL. It is known for its cheeses, olives, deli sandwiches, bakery items, handmade pastas and pre-made dishes. (Bring a cooler with ice if you fancy taking some delicious food home.)

The James Museum: (3:15 -5:00 p.m.)

The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art opened in April 2018 and has more than 400 works of art which evoke the spirit of a wide-open frontier and the beauty of life in the wild-west. The museum employs a variety of programs that brings American history and culture to life.
