Departure Cities: Appleton, WI, Fond du Lac, WI, Green Bay Area, WI, Oshkosh, WI

Come with us to visit the brand new Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center that just opened in July 2018. This 29,000 square foot, state of the art agricultural education center is located just outside of Manitowoc.

Here we have the opportunity to better understand where our food comes from and learn why agriculture is so important. The Discovery Center features hands on interactive learning exhibits, a birthing barn and a chance to visit a local working dairy farm. For lunch, we will have an included “Wisconsin Cook-Out” served buffet style inside the Wisconsin Café.

Afterwards, enjoy Wisconsin’s very own Cedar Crest Ice Cream for dessert at Ice Cream Acres located inside the center. Afterwards, a stop is made at Henning’s Cheese Factory in Kiel. This 4th generation family-owned cheese factory has been making cheese since 1914. Stroll through their free museum and store where you can taste samples and purchase items.

This tour will answer the question, “Where does my food come from?”

$123 (1:4) / $160 (1:1) (SNFW59)
