Deposit amounts are listed separately for each tour. ALL deposits are due within 7 days of making your reservation. VISA and MASTERCARD are accepted for all payments. You will receive a tour confirmation/billing statement to use when making your final payment.
Final payment dates are listed for each tour. Final payment dates are also shown on your confirmation/billing statement. For reservations made after the final payment due date, full payment by VISA or MASTERCARD is due when making the reservation. Final payments not received by the due date may result in cancelled reservations.
Discounts & Gift Certificates
Travel show coupons and gift certificates can be used on any tour. All certificates/coupons should be sent in with deposit payments. No cash refunds will be given for coupons presented after final payment has been made.
Lamers Tour & Travel recommends purchasing travel insurance with RoamRight® Travel Insurance. A RoamRight brochure will be included with your travel confirmation with instructions how to purchase.
Cancellations & Refunds
You will receive a full refund of all monies paid if you cancel your reservation on or before the final payment due date on your confirmation/billing statement. Any cancellation made after the final payment due date is subject to forfeiture of all prepaid supplier contracted non-refundable expenses such as prepaid meals, tickets, hotels, attractions and motor coach fees. Tours involving air travel, rail travel, cruises, or other modes of travel may have significant penalties for cancellation. Lamers Tour &Travel recommends the purchase of the Lamers Cancellation Protection Program to protect your travel investment. Information regarding this program can be requested directly from Lamers Tour &Travel’s Milwaukee office.
Your documents are sent approximately 7 days prior to departure, after full payment has been received in one of our offices. Documents include: departure and return information, day-by-day itinerary, baggage tags, hotel addresses and phone numbers in addition to other pertinent information. If you book your tour within 10 days of departure (and have made full payment), you have the option of receiving your documents from our Tour Director, or having them express mailed to you for a $20.00 charge.
Many of our tours can be customized to be “Fly/Motorcoach” tours. You can join many of our tours by flying into a major city. This way you can create a tour to fit your schedule and select the portion of the tour you wish to see by motor coach. Call any of our offices for more information!
Reservations are accepted up to 24 hours prior to departure, depending on space availability and/or departure location. If you book after the final payment due date, a Visa or Mastercard payment in full will be needed to secure your space.
Each passenger is allowed one suitcase handled free of charge. A small carry on or overnight bag is permissible, if carried by the passenger. Additional suitcases will be carried at a cost of $3.00 per suitcase, per night.
Please be sure to take along enough medication to last the entire trip and carry it with you at all times.
Tour membership is granted to all persons. Lamers Tour & Travel reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of these tours.
Proof of Citizenship
Please carry your birth certificate or passport for proof of U.S. citizenship for any tours extending outside United States borders.
Single travelers wishing to share a room must have a reservation on a specific tour and complete the Companion Traveler Form provided by Lamers Tour & Travel. In the event a suitable room mate is not found, a discount off the single rate may be offered. This program does not apply to reservations made after the final payment due date. The discount is solely up to management.
For the comfort and enjoyment of all tour members, no smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed on tours. Seat rotation will be practiced on all tours. Lamers Tours Directors will explain this procedure on the first day of each tour. Should you choose not to rotate seats, you may request a seat in the rear of the coach for the duration of the tour.
It is customary to offer gratuities to the coach drivers and tour directors, and at hotels for maid service. Gratuities are a personal matter and should be handled on an individual basis. Gratuities for included meals, guide services and attractions are part of the tour cost.
All tour participants must be age 12 or older.
These tours are arranged and operated by Tour of the Month, Inc., d/b/a LAMERS TOUR AND TRAVEL herein referred to as LAMERS), Milwaukee, WI. LAMERS acts only as agent for the participant (tour patron) in all matters connected with accommodations for travel, lodging, tours and sightseeing, admissions, restaurants, and other suppliers of services and transportation; and LAMERS is not responsible for any willful or negligent act and/or omission of the supplier (who is an independent contractor not under the control of LAMERS). LAMERS does not guarantee such suppliers’ rates, bookings, or reservations. Tickets of airlines or public carriers issued in connection with these tours shall be a contract solely between the carrier and the passenger, with payment for any fare increase or cancellation penalty the responsibility of the passenger(s). Since we seek to insure the compatibility and congeniality of all passengers and the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of each tour, LAMERS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, and at any time to: decline or retain any person as a member of the tour; terminate any person’s participation in a tour whose condition or general deportment impedes the operation of the tour or affects the rights, welfare or enjoyment of others; make changes in the times, itinerary, sightseeing or accommodations or routing of trips to the best available alternate should circumstances demand; and cancel a tour (in which case LAMERS’ only responsibility will be to refund passengers’ deposits and/or any payments made, which will clear LAMERS of anyother liability). The tour participant agrees that LAMERS and its agents will not be responsible for: loss or damage to baggage or any passenger belongings for any reason; any inconvenience, loss, injury, death, damage to, or in respect of persons or property whatsoever as agents of participant performing such services; any damage, loss or injury cause by climactic or weather conditions, fire, government actions or terrorist activities, earthquake, social or labor unrest, acts of God, bankruptcy, or other factors or conditions beyond LAMERS’ control; or loss due to participant’s failure to follow instructions. The payment of the required deposits and/or any partial or full payment for reservations on a tour shall be deemed and constitute full knowledge, acceptance, and consent by the participant to all provisions in this clause. Choice of Law: The relationship between the parties is governed by and is to be construed under the laws of the State of Wisconsin, which shall be considered the proper venue. Any dispute between the parties shall be submitted to arbitration in accord with the provisions of the State of Wisconsin arbitration law. LAMERS may not be sued unless thereis full compliance with all of the provisions of the aforesaid conditions. No person, other than an authorized representative of LAMERS by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add or waive any term or condition herein.
