Day One – L
We leave Florida heading north and stopping for lunch at the Golden Corral in Jacksonville. We will stop at the Love’s Travel Stop in Georgia for a break and to stretch our legs before arriving at our hotel, Hampton Inn, in Charleston, SC for the next three nights. Dinner is on your own.
Day Two – CB, D
After a good breakfast, we on the bus by 8:45 am and getting a step on guide for a tour of this great city of Charleston! We will return to the hotel about 11 am where lunch is on your own. Then we re-board the bus at 2pm for a tour of Fort Sumter. After Fort Sumter, we will be getting on the Spirit of Carolina for a wonderful Sunset Dinner Cruise. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and gentle breezes before heading back to the Hampton Inn.
Day Three – CB, L
This morning after a good breakfast, we will leave for the Boone Hall Plantation and gardens where your lunch is included. After lunch we will head to the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum. Here we will see the Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown, the Destroyer USS Laffey and the Submarine USS Clamagore. Learn where a lot of history was made! We will head back to the hotel where dinner is on your own at the City Market Area.
Day Four – CB, L
After breakfast you have more time to see the City Market area before we have to board the bus at 11:30 am to head for lunch at Gilligan’s Restaurant on John’s Island, SC. After lunch we will make one more pit stop at the Flying J Travel Center before getting home. We hope you all had a great time and share your experiences with your friends and we hope to see you again soon!
