Mackinac Island Reflections
3 Days / 2 Nights

Departure Dates: August 19-21; September 16-18, 2020
Tour Code: MACx99

We look forward to stepping back in time on delightful Mackinac Island. As we travel north, the rolling farmlands of Wisconsin soon give way to the hardwood forests of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It’s not long before we board the ferry that will take us across the Straits of Mackinac to our island home for the next two nights at the quaint Bicycle Street Inn & Suites.

This morning our visit begins with a narrated carriage tour to view the island’s many points of interest including Skull Cave, Arch Rock, Surrey Hill and Historic Market Street. Photo fans will be delighted with the scenery and picture opportunities during this leisurely horse-drawn excursion. This afternoon we dine in elegance at the world-renowned Grand Hotel. The remainder of the day is free for exploring old-fashioned Main Street on our own. Don’t forget to take home some famous Mackinac Island fudge.

We return to the mainland where our motor coach awaits our arrival. As we retrace our steps and bid farewell to our traveling friends, we look forward to sharing our memories of the lovely scenery and island delights with those at home.
