The longest-running and most treasured tradition in Osceola County is the 144th Silver Spurs Rodeo. This event features all seven traditional rodeo events: bull and saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, and barrel racing. In between all the rodeo action, there will be an act by the rodeo clown plus the famous and fast Silver Spurs Quadrille Team who perform a square dance on horseback.
Silver Spurs is known as one of the best indoor rodeos of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). The rodeo in February draws contestants from all over the nation, many national champions, competing for $100,000 in prize money. General admission stadium seating, but there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. Food is very affordable too.
