We will travel to Milwaukee to the Tripoli Shrine Center where they are celebrating their 6th annual Feztival of Trees. Here we enjoy a 45 minute guided tour of the center which is an architectural replica of India’s Taj Mahal. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places for its significance in local culture, history and architecture. It was completed in1928 and is one of Milwaukee’s unique landmarks. Afterwards, you will be able to walk through their winter wonderland of over 50 fully decorated trees all with different themes. Before you leave, you may even have a chance to meet Santa. We will also enjoy an included meal on this tour. Next, we are guests at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory Domes as known as “The Domes.” Poinsettias in vibrant shades of red, pink, white and even blue are featured throughout the exhibit. Our guided tours will begin in the Show Dome followed by the Desert and Tropical Domes. Come along with us on this Winter Wonderland tour.
